Low-cost airline Breeze Airways is continuing to expand with a new flight from New York to Florida in time for a warm-weather winter escape. The new route, which will launch on Dec. 21, will be operated seasonally from New York's MacArthur Airport in Islip, Long Island to Vero Beach, Florida, Breeze shared with Travel + Leisure . The route will be flown twice each week on Thursdays and Sundays through April 28, 2024. When it launches, this will be the first time Vero Beach is served commercially from Islip, according to the airline.
