The Central Islip High School concert choir shared the stage at LIU Post with Broadway legend Lin-Manuel Miranda. Photo Credit: Jack Roman They performed with him on the first night of the 2023/2024 season at The Tilles Center. Students say they were proud to have the opportunity to put Central Islip "center stage" and in a positive light. "The fact that we've been invited to perform with Lin-Manuel Miranda at the Tilles Center means everything, right? It, it, tears away all that badness, it brings light into the dark, it just, it's beautiful.
