"She is the essence of what an excellent role model and teacher should be." WEST ISLIP, NY — A West Islip business teacher was recently recognized as the best on Long Island. Patricia Morgigno, educator at West Islip High School, was named Long Island Business Teacher of the Year by the Long Island Business Teachers' Association on May 23. The nomination was largely written by members of the West Islip High School business department and by Morgigno's students, the West Islip School district said.
